Emerging from the misty forests of Washington’s Olympic Peninsula, Mark Hardy is a DJ, producer, and founder of the immersive music and arts festival As Above, So Below. Known for high-energy sets that blur the line between ancient ritual and modern rave, Hardy fuses the nostalgia of house and disco with the raw futurism and grit of bass-driven underground music.

Inspired by transformative events like Oregon Eclipse, Hardy taught himself to DJ, quickly earning mainstage slots at regional gatherings like SeaCompression and cultivating a grassroots scene in Port Townsend. During the pandemic, his dive into music led to working with the teams behind Juice WRLD, J Balvin, and a number of other large artists. Regionally, his Barn Jam series became a vital space for connection - a precursor to his crowning creation, As Above, So Below.

Founded in 2022, As Above, So Below embodies Hardy’s belief that celebration is infrastructure - that art, community, and creativity form the foundations of a new paradigm, one that moves beyond exploitation and the status quo. The festival has become one of the Pacific Northwest’s most distinctive creative gatherings, bridging immersive art, sound system culture, and intentional community design.

This past year, Hardy leveled up with bookings from west coast institutions Cascadia and Uniting Souls, earning nods from veteran promoters Michael Manahan and Ramiro. He shared stages with his heroes - closing Seattle’s 4th of July at the iconic Monkey Loft after house legend Justin Martin and playing direct support for Dirtybird founder Barclay Crenshaw (aka Claude VonStroke) - while debuting his own productions on Uniting Souls Music and across the underground.

With new releases and a growing global vision, Mark Hardy isn’t just building events - he’s building the future, one dance floor at a time.
